Philip Topham

Driven by  fascination with innovation and to see technology used well, Philip has become a practitioner of lateral thinking, and complex systems. Always looking forward, he easily sees the implications technology brings. As a published author in social networks, he looks to apply social principles to ease the resistance to change. Through easygoing stories, he helps colleagues develop their own understanding of technology, and like the fable of the seven blind men describing an elephant, incorporates his colleagues diverse perspectives to create the ground truth and develop a shared vision. Currently with interests in Social Systems, Big Data, Data Analytics, Visual Aesthetics, and The Connected World, Mr. Topham easily operates at the intersection of technology and business. With a patent in data disambiguation and another pending in social network analysis, he has changed the way one marketplace operates, and looks to change more. Mr Topham founded BizKnowlogy, a business technology consultancy focused on helping companies drive innovation.  He holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from University of California at Irvine, and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
